Wellington Festival of Leadership

After the success of last year’s “Developing School Leadership” conference, Wellington College are inviting head pupils to attend a one day “Festival of Leadership” at Wellington College on Friday 11 March 2011, which builds upon this concept.

The Festival is a pupil-led inititative which will challenge participants to stretch their skills through various student-run leadership-focused activities. It will involve delegates actively participating in leadership challenges as well as debating contemporary leadership issues. Westminster Summer School

The programme helps prepare students for applications to selective universities. The Summer School is hosted by Westminster School and benefits from a shared expertise of
Westminster School staff and FF Trainers and Undergraduate Mentors

The Summer School brings together the brightest Year 11 students from schools located in Central London, to raise career aspirations, attainment and access to selective universities. The programme nurtures students' potential academically, professionally and personally.  The Summer School is a fun week full of activities, small group sessions and workshops, all helping to give students the edge when they apply to University.

Chrysalis Summer School


Target? Year 10 and 12


Where? Highgate School, North London


When? August 2011

The Summer School is the centrepience of the Chrysalis Partnership: 

This partnership focuses on Gifted and Talented students in Year 10 and 12.  Students are invited to participate in dedicated activities involving subject specific tutorials, expert and inspiring lectures, visiting admission tutors and university ambassadors, employer visits and undergraduate mentoring. 

The centrepiece is an intensive week long Summer school which Highgate School works in partnership with FF to deliver.
