Policies and Procedures

Leaders in providing safe and fun learning experiences

For all our programmes we have a market leading Code of Practice (COP) outlining how we ensure risk is assessed and managed.  Prior to a programme we will provide you with a copy of the COP along with an accompanying agreement of responsibilties. The role we provide depends upon whether a programme is at your school, off-site at a venue of your choosing or at a venue that we have identified and risk assessed.  In all cases we risk assess all FF activities and ensure that everyone involved in a programme is clear about who is responsible when and that you know what policies and procedures we have in place.

Our policies, procedures, risk management, training and child protection are overseen and checked by our external technical advisor, Simon Barter who has over 15 Years experience of managing and operating children’s residential programmes.

The COP covers the following:

  1. Introduction to Future Foundations
  2. Definition of Responsibilities of visiting groups
  3. Health & Safety
  4. Risk Assessment
  5. Child Protection
  6. HR Policy
  7. Equal Opportunities
  8. Emergency Procedures
  9. Fire Procedures
  10. Procedure for a Young Person who is Missing
  11. Disclosure Policy
