Inspiring Venues

We have partner venues across the UK that provide the perfect backdrop for a programme.

We believe the location and environment used for programmes is extremely important and where possible we always deliver off-site. We work with schools and youth organisations to identify a venue that will suit the theme of the programme and the budget.

Our partner venues provide their facilities in-kind, at cost price or at discounted rates which makes it possible to take young people into a new environment without it being too expensive.  Please find below a selection of our favourite venues.

The University of Cambridge

FF has used the following colleges for programmes including Residential Higher Education Experiences (for Years 7,8,9 and 10) and Academic Summer Schools.

The unique ambience of the City of Cambridge and the University of Cambridge provides a perfect environment for encouraging young people to aim high.

The University of Leicester

FF has used the following Halls of Residences at the University of Leicester for Residential Sixth Form Inductions (Years 12 and 13) and Residential Higher Education Experiences (Year 8 and 9).

All the Halls of Residence are provided with exclusive use of facilities (except for the dining room) including the Junior Common Room, Games Room, TV Room, Senior Common Room and access to plenty of outdoor space for freetime and experiential learning.

The University of Essex

The University of Essex has kindly hosted the first day of the 2009 and 2010 Colchester County Year 11 Academic Summer School and the Year 12 Colchester County High School for Girls Year 12 Leadership Day.

The extensive grounds, theatre, classrooms and variety of cafes have provided a superb venue for both the Summer School and Leadership training.
