After an exciting few months of preparation the recruitment of young people onto the Future Foundations National Citizen Service programme 2012 is well underway!

For those of you who don’t yet know (where have you been?!) The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a fantastic programme which brings together Year 11 students from different backgrounds to learn new skills and to make a difference within their local communities during the summer holidays.

The summer venues are booked, the schools in 9 regions are on board, interested sixteen year olds have are signing up to come on this fantastic programme with FF in summer 2012.

Our first school assemblies have taken place, with the honour of the first one going to Leicester with lots of young people now signing up to come onto the NCS programme in July this year. Great news!
