History

FF was founded to help young people reach their potential

Set up in 2004, Future Foundations (FF) is a training organisation focused on the personal, academic and leadership development of young people. We work primarily with the education sector directly, either with single schools or groups of schools from a particular area. All our work is with young people of secondary age or older. We work closely with public sector, leading schools, academies, Independent Schools and leading youth organisations who are either partners or funders of our programmes.

FF provides training, coaching and mentoring Programmes for young people from 13 years and upwards. Typical programmes last between one and five days, both residential and non-residential, taking place in awe inspiring venues with a coach team of between 5 and 35 depending on the number of participants. Our delivery methods include large plenary sessions, small group workshops, 1:1 consultations, guest speakers, experiential learning and team tasks. All our programmes are based around the following themes and organisational values.

Programme Themes:

  • Take personal responsibility
  • Be yourself
  • Know yourself
  • Find your talents
  • Serve others

Our values:

  • Honesty - Authentically practising what we preach;
  • Enterprise - Open‐minded to ideas, opportunities, people and hard work;
  • Fun - Enjoying the journey and focussing on those things we naturally enjoy;
  • Passion - A belief and energy in what we are doing;
  • People - Working with and developing great people;
  • Action - Ideas only have value when acted upon and followed through
